The PC-9801 CV, technically known as the PC-9801 CV21, is the first "integrated" model in the the PC-9800 series.
Hardware
This is NEC's first attempt at creating a computer whose form factor encases both the computer itself and a monitor. It was likely built in response to the Apple Macintosh line, though is slightly bigger than most Apple computers of the era, has two 3½-inch floppy disk drives and of course utilises PC-9800 series software.
Technology wise, it's roughly on-par with the PC-9801 UV11, meaning it was positioned as a lower budget PC-9800 machine, behind the 80286-powered PC-9801 VX and PC-9801 UX lines. It has a successor of sorts in the PC-9801 CS.
