Hardware
The PC-9801 DA is 80386DX machine, making it, alongside the PC-9801 RA, the only other desktop with it at the time. To differenciate itself from the PC-9801 RA, the PC-9801 DA has the same characteristics that made the PC-9801 DX unique; dropping the V30 secondary processor, having a built in Sound Board, and having "U variants" that have built in 3½-inch floppy disk drives.
