The PC-98 DO+ is a computer released as part of the PC-9800 series. It's the successor to the PC-98 DO, and it can run both PC-9800 and PC-8800 series software.

Hardware

The PC-98 DO+, like it's predecessor, is a unique model in the PC-9800 line. Beyond sharing the ability to run both PC-9800 and PC-8800 series software, there's many difference between the DO+ and DO: The PC-98 DO+ has a unique processor, the V33A/µPD70136A for the 98 mode, giving it the same processing speed as the 286 computers. The PC-98 DO+ also has built in PC-8801-24, giving the 88 mode better sound capabilities.
