The PC-9801 LS is a model in the PC-9800 series, it is the successor to the PC-9801 LV and the first model to use the 80386SX instead of a 80386DX.

Hardware

The PC-9801 LS is a laptop with functionally the same technical specifications as a PC-9801 ES, with the only two differences being its screen and its expansion bus specifications: the screen is a plasma display instead of a CRT, and while the laptop itself doesn't have any expansion slots, the expansion bus adapter that comes with the laptop is compatible with PC-9800 series expansion boards.
