The PC-9801 LV is a model in the PC-9800 series, its the first laptop that's compatible with existing PC-9800 series software.

Hardware
The PC-9801 LV is a laptop with functionally the same technical specifications as the latter PC-9801 UV, with the only 2 differences being its screen and its expansion bus specifications: the screen is an LCD instead of a CRT, and while the laptop itself doesnt have any expansion slots, the expansion bus adapter that comes with the laptop is compatible with PC-9800 series expansion boards
