The Turbo Pad or TurboPad (ターボパッド) is the official controller for the majority of PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16 consoles and derivatives.
The Turbo Pad is essentially a PC Engine Pad with extra turbo switches (hence the name). With the exception of the original PC Engine, the PC Engine Shuttle (which uses similar Turbo Pad IIs) and the PC Engine Duo-RX, Turbo Pads have been included with every PC Engine or TurboGrafx-16 console, albeit in different colour schemes. The original TurboGrafx-16 variant also has a different plug, due to different controller standards.
