The PC-8801 mkII MR
Hardware
The MR was a higher-end model of the PC-8800 series when it launched in 1985, coming with 192KB of RAM (versus the previous models' 64) and two high-density floppy disk drives as standard. It is otherwise similar to the PC-8801 mkII FR.
Very little software exists that makes use of the improved specifications of the MR. Games would continue to target the more widespread PC-8801 mkII SR.
