The NEC TREK or PC-6001A is a localised version of the PC-6001 released in the United States in the early 1980s. The computer is virtually identical to its Japanese counterpart, however its software library is very different (and much smaller) to cater for English speakers.

The NEC TREK is not thought to have performed too well, being a largely forgotten microcomputer which at the time faced significant competition from US firms Tandy, Apple and Commodore.
