Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes, known as Dragon Slayer: Eiyuu Densetsu (ドラゴンスレイヤー英雄伝説) in Japan, is a role-playing game and the sixth entry in Nihon Falcom's Dragon Slayer series and first in the Eiyuu Densetsu sub-series. It was first released for the PC-8801 mkII SR in 1989, then subsequently ported to other home computers and consoles including PC-9800 series computers and Super CD-ROM² hardware.
The Super CD-ROM² version was also released in North America, and for years was the only game in the series to do so until a PlayStation Portable remake of Eiyuu Densetsu IV: Akai Shizuku was released in 2005.
