Tengai Makyou: Deden no Kabuki-den (天外魔境　電々のカブキ伝) is a limited edition release of Bomberman '94 for Super CD-ROM² hardware. It is largely based on the previously-distributed Bomberman '94 Special Version and was only distributed via Hudson Soft's newsletter and caravan venues. It is estimated that 20,000 copies of the game were produced.

Much like Bomberman '94 Special Version, Tengai Makyou: Deden no Kabuki-den only features the multiplayer Battle mode with one stage (the "Europe" stage) available by default and all items including Louies. The main difference from Special Version is that Bomberman has been replaced with Kabuki Danjuro, a character from Hudson Soft's Tengai Makyou series. Presentation-wise the game more closely resembles the final Bomberman '94, however still uses music from Bomberman '93. CPU players are not available in this game, meaning it is multiplayer only and thus requires the PC Engine Senyou Multi Tap.

Kabuki would later appear as a playable character in Saturn Bomberman's Battle mode.
