The GSX-8800 (General Sound eXpander) is an add-on device for the PC-8001 mkII and PC-8801 computers created by HAL Kenkyuujo. It is a sound board with two AY-3-8910 chips, creating up to six channels of audio.
The device can be made compatible with the original PC-8001 with the addition of a GSX-8810.
