The object moving up and down has "PARANOIA" written on it in the Japanese version, which was replaced with a drawing of a creature in the North American version. A "FROM NEC" string was added under the title and the "PUSH RUN BUTTON" text was stretched out. The copyright date was also moved to the bottom-right corner.

On the stage clear screen, the creature is giving the player the middle finger in the Japanese version. This was changed to a "come on" gesture with the creature's index finger in the North American version.
