- 1991 - The Super CD-ROM² and PC Engine LT are launched in Japan. Ballistix, Genji Tsuushin Agedama, Niko Niko Pun and Spiral Wave is released for the PC Engine in Japan. Efera and Jiliora: The Emblem from Darkness, Hihou Densetsu: Chris no Bouken and Taiheiki are released for CD-ROM² systems in Japan.
