Batman (バットマン ) is a maze-based action game based on the 1989 Batman film.

Sunsoft released identically named Batman games for the NES, Game Boy and Mega Drive that were also based on the 1989 film, but these games had different gameplay design.

Gameplay

The goal in each level is to collect a certain number of items or clean off a certain number of paintings. This makes the gameplay reminiscent of Pac-Man, though Batman has the ability to stun foes with the Batarang and eliminate them by touching them while they're stunned, though they respawn after a short amount of time. At the end, the player faces off against two of Joker's henchmen and then The Joker himself in the game's only boss fights.
