Bikkuriman World (ビックリマンワールド) is a side-scrolling action game originally developed as the Sega-published arcade game, Wonder Boy in Monster Land by Westone in 1987. Later in the year Hudson Soft published a version for the PC Engine, retitled and themed around the anime Bikkuriman, which had begun to air in October. Bikkuriman World is one of two launch titles for the console, the other being Shanghai.
This game is entirely unrelated to Bikkuriman World: Gekitou Sei Senshi for the Famicom, also published by Hudson Soft, but in 1990.
