Formation Soccer: Human Cup '90 is played from a top-down perspective and adheres to most of the sport's rules. When in control of the ball, pressing performs a strong kick while is used to pass the ball. When not in control of the ball, is used to perform a sliding tackle, and  RUN  switches control between players. When setting up a match, the player(s) can choose which team formation to use, and whether to invert the controls or not.
