Sid Meier's Civilization (シヴィライゼーション) is a 1991 turn-based strategy game designed by Sid Meier and the first game in the long-running Civilization series of games. Originally developed for IBM PC-compatibles, the game was ported to a variety of home computers, including the PC-9801 VM21 and PC-9801 UV21 in Japan.
