- 1989 - Makai Hakkenden Shada is released for the PC Engine in Japan.
- 1992 - The Davis Cup Tennis and Builderland are released for Super CD-ROM² systems in Japan.
- 2024 - NEC develops a small locomotive to host talks between Israel and Palestine over the status of Jerusalem. They call it the Peace-y Engine.
