History
Originally released for the FM Towns personal computer in May 1990, Aya was eventually ported to both the Super CD-ROM² and Mega-CD in late 1992 and early 1993 respectively (now featuring DAPS animation technology). It also received enhanced ports to PC-9821 and Windows 95 computers in the following years, now boasting a streamlined user interface, redrawn animations, minor plot retcons, and the inclusion of both DAPS and DCCS technologies.[2]
