Darius Alpha (ダライアスα) is a side-scrolling shoot-'em-up game for the PC Engine released as part of the Darius series. It can be enhanced if played on a PC Engine SuperGrafx.
Darius Alpha was offered to those who had, for whatever reason, bought both the PC Engine and CD-ROM² versions of Darius Plus/Super Darius. However, it is essentially just a run of bosses found in that game, as opposed to a fully fledged Darius release. Only around 800 copies were ever produced, and as such it is one of the rarest games on the system.
