Visual test
When the Riot logo appears at startup, quickly press Ⅱ Ⅰ ↓ ↓ ↑ ↑.
Start with over 16 million EXP
On the title screen, hold SELECT + RUN on Pad 3 (requires a PC Engine Senyou Multi Tap) and press RUN on Pad 1. Keep the buttons held down until gameplay begins, and the main character will start with 16,777,215 EXP.
Card mini-game
On the title screen, press Ⅱ Ⅱ ↑ ↓ Ⅱ Ⅱ RUN to play the card mini-game.
Dark Left mini-game
Start the game with an incompatible System Card, and when the error screen appears, press ↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ Ⅰ+Ⅱ. If entered correctly, the Riot logo will appear followed by a hidden shoot-'em-up mini-game, Dark Left[1].
To play Dark Left, press Ⅱ to shoot and hold for rapid fire, and Ⅰ to change the ship's speed level between three levels.
