PC-9800 series

Naming convention
I was wondering about this for a while, but wouldnt it make more sense for the PC-9800 series to be both the 9801 and 9821 lines, it seems thats how most people conceive of the PC-98 series, with "PC-9800 series" refering to everything from 1982 to the early 2000s, "PC-9801 series" refering to the series from 1982 to 1995 that all contained 9801/98 (the official NEC PC-9801 timeline includes the PC-98 DO/PC-98DO+ and the PC-98GS model 1/2), and "PC-9821 series" being the rest of the desktop computers. (I still dont know if stuff like the 98XA/98RL... will be included in either or be its own thing, if anything i'll be following the lead of these guys [1] :p) -Saad (talk) 15:21, 24 April 2024 (EDT)
