Zone select and infinite lives

In the Configuration menu, highlight "Silver Hawk Left" and press → 15 times, then highlight "Player" and press → 15 times, then press  RUN  and start the game. If done correctly, the progress screen will function as a zone select, and the life counter will display an "X" to signify infinite lives.

Frame advance

While the game is paused, press any button other than  RUN  to advance by one frame.
