Title screen cheats

On the title screen, quickly press Ⅰ x4 Ⅱ x4 Ⅰ x3 Ⅱ x4 Ⅰ x5 Ⅱ x4, then press one of the following for different effects:

• Press Ⅰ+ SELECT  to display a sound test (shown above). Use the D-Pad to select a sound, Ⅰ to play the selected sound, Ⅱ to stop any playing sound and  SELECT  to move the selection cursor between numbers.
• Press Ⅱ+ SELECT  to enable the ability to skip stages by pressing Ⅰ+Ⅱ+ RUN  during gameplay.
• Press ←+ SELECT  to start with 256 credits.
• Press ↓+ SELECT  to start with 256 turbo.

Once most of these cheats are entered,  RUN  must be pressed to start the game with the effects, otherwise the demo will play. Additionally, the last three cheats can be applied simultaneously (e.g. press ↙+Ⅱ+ SELECT  to enable all three at once).

Morse code message

Pause during gameplay and wait for about 10 minutes without pressing any buttons, and a hidden message in morse code will play.
