Cheat mode

On the title screen that shows the Beast Messenger running in the background, press Ⅱ Ⅰ Ⅰ Ⅱ. The life counter in the top-left will change to 99 to confirm correct entry. This will enable the following features:

• The Beast Messenger will be invincible.
• When climbing ladders, press  SELECT  to enable free movement. Press Ⅱ to cancel it.

Borders in the opening sequence

In the Japanese version, hold ↖+Ⅱ when loading the opening sequence to display the borders used in the North American version of the game.
