Special Criminal Investigation is a sequel to Chase H.Q., with some versions of the game going so far as to call it Chase H.Q. II: Special Criminal Investigation.
The player controls a pair of police officers who are trying to catch a criminal on the run every mission. Unlike its predecessor, the player can now use a gun or a bazooka to shoot at them rather than having to ram them with their car.
