Banpresto Co., Ltd. (バンプレスト) was a Japanese video game developer and publisher established in 1977 as Hoei Sangyō (豊栄産業) before renaming itself to Coreland (コアランドテクノロジー) in 1982. In 1989 it was bought by Bandai, and renamed Banpresto.
3 years after Namco and Bandai merged to form Bandai Namco, Banpresto was restructured and now became just a label for toys based on Bandai Namco's products and was later folded into Bandai Spirits.
