Hiyo, it's awesome to see new screenshots of PC-8001 mkII games, though I have some advice for you to help lighten the load on moderation:

  • Tag your uploads with {{PC80SS}}, so that it'll save others (i.e. me) having to do it for you.
  • I strongly recommend following the manual of style for naming files so files are easy for us to maintain, e.g. File:PunchBallMarioBros PC8001mkII Title.png.
  • PNG compression is also strongly recommended to reduce server load as much as possible. Click here for more info.
  • Once you upload a title screenshot, add it to the game's respective Bob. For multiple title screens, add new "bobscreen" lines.

Besides that, keep up the good work! --SorachiJirachi (talk) 20:54, 14 May 2023 (EDT)

Another note regarding tags - we have a whole list of screenshot/scan tags you can use for your uploads here, since you haven't been tagging your uploads: cdn:Retro CDN:Image tagging
That way, your uploads won't get lost in Special:UncategorizedFiles, and it'll save me time having to add them in manually. --SorachiJirachi (talk) 23:15, 16 May 2023 (EDT)
This is the third time I have had to ask you to use tags for your uploads. All you have to do with them is to add them to the summary box for your files when uploading (which I have linked to above). Do that, and the categories are automatically added so they won't get stuck in Special:UncategorizedFiles. I don't have time to have to keep chasing you around with a dustpan and brush, and if you keep ignoring my request, I may have to block you for a few days on grounds of ignoring sysops. You're making some great contributions, but if you're ignoring sysop requests, then that's not so good. --SorachiJirachi (talk) 21:42, 24 May 2023 (EDT)

Non-NEC screenshots

Screenshots of non-NEC versions should not be uploaded to this wiki. Please upload them to Retro CDN instead.

Also, please read this page thoroughly, as some of your screenshots are taken at the wrong resolutions. For example, screenshots of NES games should NOT be 640x400 - please take them at 256x224 or 256x240. --SorachiJirachi (talk) 01:12, 1 June 2023 (EDT)
