NEC Biglobe Inc. (NECビッグローブ株式会社) was the internet division of NEC that inherted the PC Engine-related IP rights that were once held by NEC Home Electronics.
NEC Biglobe split from NEC in April 2014 and renamed itself Biglobe Inc. (ビッグローブ株式会社) Currently, it co-owns the PC Engine brand with Konami.[2]
