China Warrior, known as The Kung Fu (ザ・功夫) in Japan, is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up game developed by Hudson Soft for the PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16. It was originally released in November 1987 shortly after the PC Engine's launch, standing as the first truly exclusive title for the platform.

China Warrior is an infamous game for its use of large, detailed sprites, which at its release in 1987 was unseen in most home video games of the era. Advertising saw it compare itself favourably to the 1985 Nintendo version of Kung Fu (originally developed by Irem, known as Kung-Fu Master on other systems and Spartan X in Japan). It has since however, been widely criticised for its limiting gameplay.
