Alternate title screen

When "PUSH RUN BUTTON!" appears on the title screen, press HOLD ←+Ⅰ+Ⅱ+ SELECT  RUN  to change the title screen.

Sound room

Start a new game, and when the map of Japan appears press HOLD →+Ⅱ RUN  to display the sound room. To use the sound room, press  SELECT  to toggle between sound and ADPCM, ↑ and ↓ to select a sound, Ⅰ to play the selected sound and Ⅱ to stop any playing sound. To exit, reset the system.

Intro cheats

Enemy's general falls

When the intro showing a general going into battle is shown, press and hold ↓+ RUN  until the game begins.

Player's general falls

When the intro showing a general going into battle is shown, press and hold ←+ RUN  until the game begins.

Halve number of play years

When the intro showing a general going into battle is shown, press and hold ↑+ RUN  until the game begins.

Reduce soldier count

When the intro showing a general going into battle is shown, press and hold →+ RUN  until the game begins.

View ending credits

Start a new game, and hold ↑ while selecting a general in the setup menu until the screen fades out. If done correctly, the credits will play instead of the intro.

Replay ending credits

When the Intec logo is displayed at the end of the credits, press ↑ x10  SELECT +Ⅰ ↑ x7  SELECT +Ⅰ ↑  SELECT +Ⅰ ↑ x2  SELECT +Ⅰ  SELECT +Ⅱ to replay the credits from the beginning.
