Debug mode

With any player, enter "DEBDE DEBDA" as a password, and press  RUN +Ⅰ to confirm it. The game will claim it's an invalid password, but ignore it and start the game as normal. The following functions will now be activated for all players:

• The movement speed of all players is increased.
• Players can walk through walls and other obstacles.
• Players are immortal (they will still take damage, but HP will wrap around to 999 when it reaches 0).
• The 16 bushes in front of the castle in the starting location warp the player(s) to various locations when walked on.

Homing attacks

With any player, enter "HOMIN GAAAA" as a password. The game will claim it's an invalid password, but ignore it and start the game as normal. This will allow any player to make their attacks go anywhere on the screen by holding Ⅱ and using the D-Pad.

Change names

With any player, enter "CHECK NAMEA" as a password. This will allow that player to change their name.

Play as Princess Aki

With any player, enter "JBBNJ HDCOG" as a password. This will allow that player to play as the princess.

Play as the hermit

With any player, enter "IMGAJ MDPAI" as a password. This will allow that player to play as the hermit.
