JPI (likely Jan Putnam International) was a American game licensing company founded in April 1988 by Jan Putnam.[1] As a sole trader, it represented numerous video game companies, helping establishing licensing deals in regions such as Japan. Many big game franchises of the 1990s and 2000s saw an international release due to the work of JPI.
