Sound test
When the NEC Avenue logo appears at startup, press ↑ ← ↓ → ↑ ← ↓ → SELECT SELECT SELECT ←. To use the sound test, press ↑ and ↓ to select a song and Ⅰ to play the selected song. To exit, reset the system.
Visual test
When the NEC Avenue logo appears at startup, press ↑ → ↓ ← ↑ → ↓ ← SELECT SELECT SELECT ←. This screen also displays a build date.
