Quest cheats
When "NEC AVENUE PRESENTS" appears during startup, hold Ⅱ before it fades out, and a sound will confirm correct entry, then hold any of the following button combinations before the title screen appears then start Quest mode for different effects[1]:
- ↑+Ⅰ - Displays a question.
- ←+Ⅰ - Displays the ending.
- ↓+Ⅰ - Enables cheat commands during Quest mode.
- →+Ⅰ - Enables cheat commands during Quest mode, and displays answers in the lower-left corner of the screen during a quiz.
The cheat commands that can be enabled during Quest mode are as follows:
- Press ↑, ↓, ← or → on the world map screen to start the round corresponding to the direction pressed.
- Press →+ RUN during a quiz to get a Game Over.
- Press ←+ RUN during a quiz to clear it.
