Bonus stage select
On the title screen, press ↑ x3 → x3 ↓ x6 ← x8, then press Ⅰ any number of times between zero and three, then start the game. The bonus stage that appears when starting the game depends on how many times Ⅰ was pressed at the title screen (pressing Ⅰ more than three times will loop the selection back to the first bonus stage)[1].
