Start with 99 lives
In the options menu, highlight "Player" and press Ⅱ RUN Ⅱ Ⅰ RUN Ⅰ Ⅰ RUN Ⅱ RUN . A sound will confirm correct entry. The player's lives stock will now be 99, however the game cannot show more than 8[1].
