On the title screen, press  RUN  once to proceed to the main menu, then press Ⅰ Ⅱ → ← Ⅰ Ⅱ → ← Ⅰ Ⅰ ← ← Ⅱ Ⅱ → →. A sound will confirm correct entry. Press Ⅰ to display the password screen, where other cheats can be activated.

Inverted colours

Enter "みにくいよ　いろがなんだか　へんですよ" as a password. This will invert the screen colours.

Four screen mode

Enter "あかきつね　ぬんもうまいし　ぐもうまい" as a password. This will split the screen into four screens on a 512x240 display.

Unlock all stages and full equipment

Enter "これだけは　いれてはいけぬ　みごどのる" as a password. To access the stage select, pause and press Ⅰ twice, then select the third option. All upgrades will also be available in the second option.

Start with 300,000 money

Enter "おねがいだ　かみさまおかね　くださいな" as a password.
