Super user mode
Enter "AVENUEMODE" as a password and press ↖+Ⅱ+ RUN to access a debug menu[1] (it is easier to do this by entering "AVENUEMOEE", highlighting the last character, then quickly doing the button combination). The options are as follows:
- AREA: A level select.
- MODE: An invincibility toggle.
- SOUND: A sound effects test. Press 1 to play the selected sound effect.
- MUSIC: A music test. Press 1 to play the selected song.
- WEAPON: A weapon select.
- SPEED: A speed setting.
- SELECT: Doesn't seem to be changeable.
- EXIT: Starts the game (pressing RUN anywhere in the menu also has the same effect).
