Visual test

When the three Japanese sentences appear during startup, press ↑ ↓ ← → Ⅱ Ⅱ Ⅰ. A sound will confirm correct entry, and the visual test will appear shortly afterwards.

Grayscale backgrounds

When the three Japanese sentences appear during startup, hold →+Ⅱ until a sound plays. This will remove the colour of the backgrounds in some cutscenes.

Continue game

When the three Japanese sentences appear during startup, hold ←+Ⅱ until a sound plays.

Edit tiles

On the title screen, press  SELECT  to display the rankings screen, then press ↑ ↓ ← → ↑ ↓ ← → Ⅰ Ⅰ  RUN . A sound will confirm correct entry, and the game will return to the title screen. Now, during gameplay, it is possible to change the tiles for both the player and the opponent during either turn.
