In addition to changing the title, the TurboGrafx-16 version adds a ™ symbol to the title and replaces the Namcot logo with "FROM NEC".

The instructions for the Select Mode screen have been reworded.

In the PC Engine version, pressing RUN during gameplay pauses the game, though the game will not allow pausing during a cutscene or death. The TurboGrafx-16 version changes the command to SELECT , and allows pausing anywhere. In addition, it removes the "PAUSE" text when paused.
