It is a port of the arcade game Nekketsu Koukou Dodgeball Bu, originally released in 1988 by Technos Japan Corp., which saw a modified North American version under the title of Super Dodge Ball. Unlike the arcade game, this PC Engine revision was exclusive to the Japanese market.
