99,999 balls

PachiokunMaboroshinoDensetsu CDROM2 Bug 99999Balls.png

When the player runs out of balls when using a pachinko machine, pressing  SELECT  to display the pause menu will become unavailable and the player will get a Game Over. It is possible, however, to press  SELECT  on the exact frame the last ball is launched and the remaining ball counter ticks down to zero. From there, the player can select the second option to stop using the pachinko machine and return to the overworld with no balls remaining. If they use a pachinko machine again afterwards, the remaining balls counter will underflow to 99,999 balls. If the player wins a prize, then it is possible for the balls to overflow back to above zero.

Not fixed in any version.
