Hold →+Ⅱ when booting the game from the CD-ROM² boot screen. The star in the Masaya logo will fill the screen to confirm correct entry. When the title screen appears, press HOLD ←+Ⅱ+ SELECT Ⅰ.
Cheat mode
Start a new game, and when the "PART 1" title card appears, press and hold ↙+Ⅰ until gameplay begins. This will enable the following commands while paused[1]:
- Press ↙+ SELECT to unlock the ability to freely change Ranma's gender by pressing SELECT during gameplay.
- Press ↓+Ⅰ+Ⅱ+ SELECT to refill Ranma's health.
