Extra credits
On the continue screen, press SELECT +Ⅰ+Ⅱ to earn 3 extra credits. This only works in the PC Engine version - the TurboGrafx-16 version starts the player with 6 credits by default.
Extra powerups after a continue
On the continue screen, wait for the timer to reach zero, then press RUN to continue the game. If timed correctly, the game will spawn a bomb powerup and three weapon powerups in front of the player's ship.
