Stage skip

Hold +++ SELECT + RUN  when powering on the system. Now, at any time during gameplay, press +++ SELECT + RUN  to skip the current stage[1].

Hidden text

Located at the beginning of the ROM:

!BM FORMAT!
SOKO-DATA
SOKO-EDIT1
SOKO-EDIT2
SOKO-EDIT3

Dummied password

Boxyboy TG16 Stage251.png

Located at the very end of the password list at 7867 is the password "-----", which cannot be used as the "-" character cannot be entered on the password screen. If this is changed to a valid password in a hex editor, it will allow access to a 251st stage. As the game only has 250 stages however, this password will cause a crash when starting the game.
